Job Description: Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Bias
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Experience in panel wiring with the ability to read electrical schematics to mounting components, sub-assemblies, etc into electrical panels
- Basic mechanical fitting to include related tasks such as drilling, hole punching, tapping and assembly of mechanical components i.e mesh guarding, conveying, steel frames and bases
- Able to follow engineering drawings to assemble and install
- Maintain production build & quality control documentation in line with company procedures
- Liaise with in-house personnel as required to resolve build and design issues.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, equipment, and resources, reporting any issues to Line Manager
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Applicants must demonstrate minimum of 2 years job related industrial electrical experience
- Working knowledge of electrical control panel components, including programmable controllers, relays, motor starters, terminal strips, wire channel advantageous
- Qualifications: Electrical level 3 certificate, 17th edition BS7671 preferred
- GCSE grades A-C in English, Maths and Science
- Able to act on own initiative, make decisions and work under pressure
- Awareness and ability to work to safety standards, follow RAMS and machinery regulations are essential
- Must hold clean driving license
- Willingness to travel to site in the UK and overseas is a must
Hours of work:
8:00-5:00pm Monday – Friday. Includes 15 minute break at 10am. Excludes lunch break 1:00-1:30pm
