Reeco Automation Joins Forces with Hwb Llwybr Roboteg Cymru to Accelerate Robotics Adoption Across Wales
Welsh robotics specialist Reeco Automation is proud to announce its involvement in Hwb Llwybr Roboteg Cymru (Wales Robotics Pathway Hub), an initiative designed to help businesses overcome barriers to automation and unlock the benefits of robotics.

Officially launching on 9 October 2026, the Hub will bring together expertise from across industry, academia and the robotics sector to help Welsh businesses explore, evaluate and adopt robotic technologies.
As one of three specialist robotics integrators supporting the initiative, Reeco Automation will play a key role in bridging the gap between innovative technology and practical industrial application.
With a decade of experience delivering robotic automation solutions, Reeco brings extensive capabilities in system design, application engineering, prototyping, simulation and turnkey robotic integration.
Through the Hub, Reeco will help businesses assess their readiness for automation, identify commercially viable opportunities and validate proposed solutions before committing to significant capital investment.
This practical approach will include early-stage technical assessments, feasibility studies, prototype development, robotic trials and digital simulation, helping manufacturers reduce risk and build confidence in new technologies.
Putting Business Readiness at the Heart of Robotics Adoption
A central principle of the Hub's delivery model is recognising that successful automation begins long before a robot is installed.
Reeco will contribute to assessing organisational and technical readiness, helping businesses understand their existing processes, workforce capabilities and operational challenges before determining the most appropriate automation strategy.
The Hub will also provide pathways to skills development, funding guidance and wider technical expertise, recognising that workforce engagement and organisational readiness are just as important as the technology itself.
Rosie Davies, Managing Director of Reeco Automation, commented:
"Robotics has enormous potential to transform productivity and competitiveness across Welsh industry, but successful adoption requires far more than simply selecting a robot.
As integrators, we see first-hand the importance of understanding a business, its processes and its people before introducing automation. Many of the challenges associated with unsuccessful automation projects can be traced back to inadequate planning or organisational readiness.
The Robotics Adoption Hub provides a fantastic opportunity to address these barriers, giving businesses access to independent guidance, practical engineering expertise and the confidence to take their first steps towards automation.
We're incredibly proud to contribute our experience and capabilities to this initiative and to play a part in strengthening Wales' position in the future of robotics."
A Collaborative Approach to Industrial Innovation
Working alongside fellow integration partners and the wider Hub network, Reeco will help create a connected route from initial enquiry through to technical validation and successful deployment.
The initiative will also benefit from access to established industry networks, including BARA and Automate UK, helping businesses connect with additional expertise and specialist technology providers where required.
With facilities in Mid Wales and Bradford, Reeco is well positioned to provide technical expertise and cross-border engineering capability to businesses exploring automation opportunities.
As the company celebrates ten years in business, its involvement in Hwb Llwybr Roboteg Cymru reinforces its commitment to making advanced robotics more accessible, commercially viable and achievable for manufacturers of all sizes.
