Fox’s Burton’s Company and Reeco Drive Production Efficiency 

Fox’s Burton’s Company, one of the UK’s leading biscuit manufacturers, continues to set the standard for efficiency and innovation within the food manufacturing sector. Working with Reeco Automation, the business has successfully enhanced operations on its Maryland Cookies product line through a tailored automation solution. 

Following a thorough assessment of the existing setup, which comprised three conveyors feeding into the packing hall and two redundant robots, Reeco implemented a smart conveying solution integrated with four RB2000 palletising systems. 

Each conveyor can transport multiple product lines simultaneously, with up to seven SKUs running on a single conveyor at any time. To handle the complex production requirements, Reeco supplied each cell with a twin-feed, dual-bay pallet configuration equipped with high-speed barcode scanners, automatically routing each product to the correct palletiser. 

The palletisers are fitted with Reeco’s mechanical servo clamp and quick change tool to allow the use of a servo vacuum gripper, allowing them to handle multiple case types. This ensures consistent accuracy, precision, and throughput, even under highly variable line conditions.
